I think we should do some discussion on how old Emma was when her mother dead. I see an unsigned user changed it to "12", based on the reference in the text that "she has been mistress of the house since she was 12" - but I'd argue that is possibly when Isabella got married, and Mrs. Woodhouse died a lot earlier than that. I'd recommend leaving it more ambiguous, as the text does. Ibmiller (talk) 02:21, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
