Mrs. Wallis is a character in Persuasion. She is married to Colonel Wallis, a friend of William Elliot's. She and her husband live in the Marlborough Buildings, a luxurious residential complex in Bath. She is in the family way in early 1815 when the Elliots are staying on Camden-place. She had never met them because she is in her confinement, but William Elliot describes the Wallises as being worthy of a place like the Marlborough Buildings and Bath society[1].
