Miss Osborne is the daughter of Lady Osborne and the sister of Lord Osborne. Her friend Fanny Carr is staying with them at Osborne Castle during the events of The Watsons.
She has a very fair complexion, but she is not handsome. Tom Musgrave claims her manners are delightful. Elizabeth Watson says Musgrave wants to marry her, however, which makes his judgment suspect.
She promises the first dance at the assembly to Charles Blake, but when Colonel Beresford asks her, she jilts him and promises to dance with him after tea. Emma Watson does not see whether she does because she is dancing with Mr. Howard then. When the Osborne party leaves the assembly, she makes a jerking curtsy to Emma.
