Margaret Fraser is the daughter of Mr. Fraser and the stepdaughter of his second wife, Janet Ross. She and her stepmother both want Margaret to marry Henry Crawford, and when Mary Crawford comes to stay with them, she predicts Margaret will interrogate her about the woman her brother really loves, Fanny Price.
