Lady Alicia is an acquaintance of Lady Russell and the Elliots in Bath. She and Mrs. Frankland tell Lady Russell about the curtains in a house on Pulteney Street, and later, Sir Walter and Elizabeth Elliot decide not to give a dinner for the Musgroves because Lady Alicia does not invite guests for dinner, not even her sister's family, even though they were in Bath for a month.
