Hunsford Parsonage is a clergy house located near Rosings Park in Kent, and was bequeathed to William Collins after he accepted a position as the clergyman of the parish. It was also home to Charlotte Lucas after her marriage to Mr. Collins.
Description[]
The house is fronted by green fences and a laurel hedge, adjacent to two glebe meadows, and situated in a large, well-laid-out garden that not only had walks and crosswalks, but also sloped down to the road. A small gate with a short gravel walk led to the house.

The house itself was rather small, but well-built and convenient, with well-proportioned rooms, and Charlotte ensured that everything was fitted up and arranged with a neatness and consistency that Elizabeth wholeheartedly approved of. In fact, if one could overlook Mr. Collins' odious presence, the house was actually an extremely comfortable place - a fact that was acknowledged by even the fastidious Mr. Darcy, who was himself the owner of a palatial estate. The Collinses also kept cows and poultry.
Trivia[]
