Ecclesford is an estate in Cornwall owned by Lord Ravenshaw. Lord Ravenshaw and his wife, Lady Ravenshaw, were hosting a theatrical party at Ecclesford, attended by John Yates, a Sir Henry, and a duke when Lord Ravenshaw's grandmother died three days before the performance and the party was canceled. The house includes a theater, which is apparently impressive. The Ravenshaws have a governess, who also resides in Ecclesford, and therefore children for her to teach.
