Miss Charlotte Heywood is a character in Sanditon, by Jane Austen. She is about two and twenty.[1]
Character[]
She is one of the children of Mr. and Mrs. Heywood and lives in Willingden. After a carriage accident that sprained Mr. Parker's ankle, Charlotte Heywood was the daughter who tended the most to Parker and his wife. They became good friends, and the Parkers really got to know her. When it was time to leave Willingden and return to the parish of Sanditon, one the coast of England, they offered to bring Charlotte with them so she could bathe and make the most of the sea air. The Heywoods consented to this idea.[1]
